美容の専門家ではなく音楽家であるわたしがつくるなら、これまで” さまざまな愛の形” を歌ってきた愛する音楽の世界につながるプロダクトにしたい。その想いが形になり、地球、自然、動物、コミュニティ、そして人にやさしいプロダクトを届けたいという願いにつながりました。商品名には、ジャズの名曲タイトルをつけています。 忙しい日々の中で、sakkaがそっと寄り添い、心と肌に安らぎをとどけられますように。私の家族のように、肌が弱く悩んでいる人たちにも安心して手にとってもらえますように。

An Ethical Skincare Brand Created by a Musician
A Five-Year Journey of Love, Hope, and Care
I am Yukako Niizuma, singer-songwriter and founder of sakka. For many years, my husband struggled with sensitive skin, dryness, and itching, and we spent nearly 15 years searching for relief.
Then, unexpectedly, we discovered neem oil. As we continued using it, I began noticing gentle changes in his skin. Nothing dramatic overnight—just small moments of comfort that gradually gave us hope. I wanted to create something simple enough to carry anywhere and easy enough to become part of everyday life.
That wish became a journey of five years. After years of refining and reimagining, I created an all-in-one balm designed to fit naturally into daily rituals. I’m not a beauty expert. I’m a musician. Throughout my music, I have always sung about the many forms of love—love for family, for others, for ourselves, and for the world around us. I wanted sakka to carry that same feeling.
So sakka became more than skincare—it became a brand rooted in kindness toward the Earth, nature, animals, communities, and people. Each balm is named after a classic jazz track, carrying its own story and emotion. May sakka gently stay close to your busy days, bringing peace and comfort to your mind and skin.

自然の恵に敬意を払い、地球、社会、人への優しい選択を積み重ねるという、 私たちのコア理念です。100％自然由来の成分だけを使い、容器はリサイクル可能な ガラスを採用。外箱を廃止する代わりに、タイ・バンコクのスラム街発のクラフトエイドブランド「FATIMA」にギフトポーチを製作してもらっています。FATIMA とは、音楽家として2018年からスラム街や恵まれない地域の子供たちを支援する活動の中で出会いました。シングルマザーや生活窮困者の女性の 経済自立を支援するブランドで、フェアトレードで取引され、その代金はすべて現地女性の支援に繋がります。
sakka の製品には、家族への想いと、支える人も支えられる人も笑顔になる環境をつくりたいという願いが込められています。
Honoring the blessings of nature, we continuously make choices kind to the Earth, society, and people. We use 100% naturally derived ingredients and recyclable glass containers. Instead of outer paper boxes, our gift pouches are crafted by “FATIMA,” a craft-aid brand from the slums of Bangkok, Thailand.
I encountered FATIMA through my musical activities since 2018, supporting children in slums and underprivileged areas. FATIMA empowers single mothers and vulnerable women toward financial independence through fair trade, with all proceeds directly supporting them. Infused with love for my family, sakka embodies our wish to create a gentle cycle where both those who support and those who are supported can smile.
